FREDDY LEAL | Co-Founder, Co-Owner
Austin, TX
Freddy is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Subciety. He started his music career by booking up-and-coming underground artists with his business partner in College Station, TX. After accomplishing some success, they decided to move to a bigger city to build the company and achieve greater things. Arriving in Austin, TX in 2018, Subciety was officially established as an LLC in 2019. From there, they grew the company beyond event production, building a dedicated team, expanding into artist management and booking, and launching an independent record label. Today, Subciety has produced numerous events centered on immersive experiences, artistic expression in all forms, promoting sound culture, and advocating for community & safety, all while never losing sight of what started it all – to provide a platform for talented artists to share their music with the world. In addition to Subciety, Freddy is a Partner & Talent Curator at Beyond Existence Music Festival & Project Manager at (Sub)culture Audio.
JACKIE YU | Co-Owner
Denver, CO
Jackie joined in 2021 and is the Co-Owner of Subciety. She completely built her career from the ground up through years of hands-on experience across many facets of the music industry – from promotion, to marketing, artist management, project management, event production, working music festivals, leading promotion campaigns, artist relations, and festival operations. She is a big advocate of the underground, believing in the power of collaboration, authenticity, and providing opportunities for emerging talent to thrive. Jackie is also the Operations Manager for Beyond Existence Music Festival.
